Connect your own domain name to your Grow Local website

Your Default URL
Every Grow Local website gets a free URL like: yourname.clients.getdmdigital.com. It works fine, and you can connect your own domain anytime.
Using Your Own Domain
If you already own a domain (like yourbusiness.com), you can connect it to your Grow Local website.
- Go to your Domain tab
- Enter your domain name (e.g. yourbusiness.com)
- You'll see DNS instructions - add a CNAME record at your domain registrar pointing to our servers
- Click Verify - it may take up to 48 hours for DNS to propagate
SSL is set up automatically for your domain. Your domain always stays yours, and you keep it if you cancel.
Don't Own a Domain?
You can purchase one from a domain registrar such as Namecheap or Cloudflare. Choose something short and easy to remember - ideally your business name.
Do I Need a Custom Domain?
Not necessarily. Your free subdomain works fine, and you can connect your own domain anytime. A custom domain is mainly for brand consistency - if you have business cards, a truck wrap, or marketing materials with your domain on them.
